Meanwhile, the recreational offerings at Red Top Mountain State Park continue to attract visitors. The park features a sandy and kid-friendly beach called Lakeside Cove, which has received positive feedback from visitors. One visitor remarked, “Such a beautiful park to swim, paddle board, or float. The dogs loved the water, too.”
The Lakeside Trail at Red Top Mountain State Park, just under one mile long, provides stunning views of Lake Allatoona. The park is located approximately 42 miles from the city, making it an accessible destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
For those looking to stay overnight, camping sites are available for just $23 a night, while cabins and rooms at the lodge range from $70 to $130 a night. This affordability makes it a great option for families and groups looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
In addition to these developments, the racing scene at Q1 Lakeside is also generating excitement. Notable contenders include MERCEDES BELLE, who has the speed to overcome a very wide draw, and PASS THE PEPPA, who placed last start at Q1 Lakeside and has shown promise with two placements in three runs at the track.
