Guy Ritchie is making headlines as he returns to direct and co-write the much-anticipated season 2 of The Gentlemen, set to premiere in fall 2026. This new season follows the successful first season, which garnered a 75% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and was confirmed by Netflix in August 2024.
Production for season 2 began in spring 2025 and wrapped in October 2025, with actor Theo James confirming the release timeline. “We’ve done it, we’ve wrapped season 2. Doing a cut at the moment. There’s still tweaks to be done but it will be in the fall, coming out. It’s fun. It’s still funny, but it’s darker. Goes a little wild,” James stated, hinting at a shift in tone for the series.
