Disneyland Paris has officially opened the World of Frozen on March 29, 2026, as part of its transformation into Disney Adventure World. This new land features attractions inspired by the beloved Frozen franchise, including the family-friendly ride Frozen Ever After and the live show A Celebration in Arendelle.
The opening ceremony was a grand affair, showcasing performances and appearances by Disney executives and characters, highlighting the excitement surrounding this new chapter for the park. The transformation into Disney Adventure World has been a significant investment, costing approximately $2 billion.
World of Frozen is not just a new land; it is part of a broader reimagining of Disneyland Paris, which now includes two parks. One of the standout features of this new area is the Disney Cascade of Lights, a nighttime spectacular at Adventure Bay. This show integrates an innovative aquatic drone system, featuring a ballet of more than 380 drones and synchronized mobile fountains with water jets reaching heights of 18 feet.
Disneyland Paris has granted over 25,000 wishes since its opening in 1992, and with the introduction of Disney Adventure World, the park aims to continue creating magical experiences for families. As Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland Paris, stated, “With Disney Adventure World, we’re not only unveiling a reimagined second gate at Disneyland Paris; we’re opening the door to a new era.”
Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, remarked, “Few stories have resonated with fans around the world like Frozen,” emphasizing the franchise’s impact on the park’s development.
In addition to Frozen-themed attractions, guests can enjoy new dining options such as the Regal View Restaurant & Lounge and the Raiponce Tangled Spin ride, inspired by the Tangled movie. These additions are designed to enhance the overall experience for visitors of all ages.
