New Leadership at FlightStory
“I am absolutely thrilled to share I’ve joined The Studio @ FLIGHTSTORY as Production Director leading The Founder Storytelling Team,” said Bryony Hopkins, marking her new role at Steven Bartlett’s innovative media company.
Hopkins, who previously held a significant position at LADbible, where she led a team of 15 in producing diverse content across sport, factual, and entertainment genres, is set to enhance FlightStory’s storytelling capabilities. Her background also includes experience at Strong Watch and BBC News, showcasing a robust career in media.
FlightStory, owned by Bartlett, is recognized for its influential podcasts and has a portfolio that reaches over 70 million people every month. This expansion comes at a time when the company is innovating within the creator economy and digital media landscape.
In addition to Hopkins’ appointment, Winnie Dunbar Nelson has also joined FlightStory as guest and research director, further strengthening the team’s expertise.
Controversy Surrounding Zoe’s Supplement
The ASA determined that the advertisement, which claimed the supplement was free from ultra-processed ingredients, created a misleading impression. Professor Tim Spector, a cofounder of Zoe, expressed his disbelief at the ASA’s decision, stating, “To suggest that advertising a scientifically proven supplement made of whole-food ingredients is ‘misleading’ is a victory for pedantry over public health.”
Bartlett had previously endorsed the supplement in a Facebook ad, stating, “This is a supplement revolution. No ultra-processed pills, no shakes, just real food.” The ruling has sparked discussions about the balance between advertising standards and public health messaging.
As FlightStory continues to grow and evolve, the implications of these developments on Bartlett’s ventures remain to be seen.
