Audi RS3 Competition Limited Unveiled
The Audi RS3 Competition Limited will be restricted to 750 units worldwide, with prices starting at £92,855 for both the Sportback and saloon bodystyles. This special edition marks a significant milestone, celebrating the five-cylinder engine’s golden jubilee.
Under the hood, the car features a 2.5-litre in-line five-cylinder engine that produces 394bhp and 500Nm of torque. The performance is impressive, with a 0-62mph time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 180mph.
To enhance its driving dynamics, the RS3 Competition Limited includes a torque-vectoring rear differential and a new suspension set-up with adjustable coilover suspension. Additionally, the exhaust system has been modified specifically for this model.
Only 11 units are destined for the UK market, all in five-door form. Deliveries are set to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The car features unique styling elements, including a significant amount of matt-finish carbon fibre, which adds to its exclusive appeal. Observers note that the RS3 Competition Limited represents the ultimate form of the RS3 line.
Gernot Döllner, a key figure in Audi’s development, remarked, “The RS3 Competition Limited represents its ultimate form.” He also expressed uncertainty regarding the future of the five-cylinder engine, stating, “I don’t know if we’re able to refinance the investment in EU7 regulations.”
Despite the excitement surrounding this limited edition, details remain unconfirmed regarding UK allocations. There are also conflicting reports about the future of the five-cylinder engine, raising questions about its viability under upcoming Euro 7 emissions regulations.
The RS3 Competition Limited is designed to allow enthusiasts to fully enjoy the five-cylinder soundtrack, especially in the Dynamic, RS Performance, and RS Torque Rear (drift) driving modes.
